Congressman Bennie Thompson Announces HHS Award to Mississippi State Department of Health for Maternal and Child Health Services

Bolton, MS- Congressman Bennie G. Thompson is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will award the Mississippi State Department of Health a grant of $3,051,310 for Maternal and Child Health Services (B04).

This substantial grant will support the Mississippi State Department of Health in its mission to improve the health and well-being of mothers, infants, and children across the state. The funds will be used to enhance access to quality healthcare, provide essential medical services, and implement programs aimed at reducing health disparities among vulnerable populations.
