TEAM NAVER announced on November 15 that it has successfully showcased its Digital Twin Platform technology and project achievements at "Cityscape Global 2024," the world's largest construction exhibition held in Saudi Arabia.
TEAM NAVER's exhibition booth, jointly organized with the National Housing Company (NHC), Korea Land and Geospatial InformatiX Corporation (LX), and Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), drew significant attention from key stakeholders in Middle Eastern urban development. Notably, municipal leaders from over 10 regions across Saudi Arabia visited the booth, engaging in in-depth discussions about adopting the Digital Twin Platform.
Most significantly, the diorama media table displaying Saudi Arabian cities received exceptionally high local response for its ability to vividly demonstrate various Digital Twin scenarios, including flood simulations, urban planning, and traffic management. The company stated that approximately 12,000 visitors experienced TEAM NAVER's Digital Twin technology at the booth during the 4-day event.

Furthermore, throughout the event, TEAM NAVER conducted meetings with high-ranking officials, including representatives from the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs & Housing (MoMRAH), NHC, the CEO of Saudi Water Authority, and the heads of various municipalities. The company added that they also introduced the "NAVER Twin XR Platform," a spatial intelligence technology announced at the recent TEAM NAVER integrated conference "DAN24," and discussed various collaboration possibilities that could be created through NAVER's spatial intelligence technologies, including AR/VR, robotics, and autonomous driving.

TEAM NAVER signed a contract for the "Digital Twin Platform Construction Project" for major Saudi Arabian cities in October last year and officially commenced operations in July this year. The company is creating a 3D virtual world identical to actual cities by integrating various spatial intelligence technologies, including the precise mapping solution "ALIKE," mapping robots, and AI positioning systems. They are currently preparing services aimed at providing customized solutions tailored to Saudi's local conditions in areas such as flood management, urban development, and transportation systems.
Kim Yuwon, CEO of NAVER Cloud, stated, "Through 'Cityscape Global 2024,' we have moved closer to realizing Saudi Arabia's smart city vision by introducing TEAM NAVER's Digital Twin technology to the Middle East market. We will do our best to ensure the successful launch of our first phase of services in major Saudi cities early next year." (/End)
