"Small businesses are the backbone of Philadelphia's economy. For far too long, small business owners lack the ability to access resources to jumpstart their businesses," said Councilwoman Ahmad. "As their representative, I firmly believe that we have the responsibility to ensure they have the tools to succeed. I was proud to host the Show Me the Money event, and I look forward to hosting more events in the future."

"It was an honor participating in an event that supports underserved business development. Raising awareness and speaking on the resources we provide to our community is what allows agencies like WORC to continue to be drive its mission." - Joanna Montas, Director of Programs, Women's Opportunities Resource Center

"This is a great event for us, especially the CDFI's, to connect with the community. So many small businesses don't know our services and with this event, we are reaching out to them and offering them our support. Thank you so much Council Member Nina Ahmad, who have been supporting and has been a loyal friend of the small businesses." - Indah Nuritasari, Commercial Loan Officer, Cooperative Business Assistance Corporation

"Small Businesses are the backbone of our economy. As we celebrate 40th anniversary of Minority Enterprise Development Week-celebrating the hardworking, dedicated, entrepreneurial minority owned businesses-it is an honor for the Asian American Chamber of Commerce to participate in this event, and to have this opportunity to speak to the aspiring entrepreneurs alongside my colleagues that highly respect." - Khine Arthur, President & CEO, Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia
