Bow Wow Luau returns to the Family Aquatic Center on Sept. 7

KILLEEN, Texas (Aug. 29, 2024) - The City of Killeen's Recreation Division is inviting dog owners to bring their best friends to our Bow Wow Luau on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Aquatic Center (1800 E. Stan Schlueter Loop). The event is a popular event for dogs of all ages to enjoy a splash in our park.

There will be a host of activities, including a costume contest, a most talented contest, a most loveable contest, doggie snacks, swim time, vendors, and more.

This event is Killeen's signature dog event and is free and open to the public. Registration is required at www.killeentexas.gov/rec. Each dog is limited to five humans. All pets are required to be vaccinated. Proof of vaccination is required on the day of the event via vaccination record or dog tag. For more info, call (254) 501-6390.
