AAN Adds $5 Million to Immigration and Cost of Living Issue Advocacy Campaigns

Ads running on TV and digital platforms over the next two weeks

WASHINGTON - American Action Network (AAN) today announced additional spending in eighteen congressional districts as a continuation of two ongoing issue advocacy campaigns. The first campaign urges Members of Congress to support effective immigration measures to secure our border, like reinstating the popular Remain in Mexico policy. The second campaign supports continuing critical efforts to reduce the cost of living on everything from energy to healthcare to daily household items, efforts like the commonsense Red Tape Reduction Act.

AAN is adding an additional $5 million to the already existing advertising campaigns, bringing the total amount spent to $26.5 million this summer. The ads will run on television and digital platforms over the next two weeks in the following districts:
- AK-AL: Mary Peltola
- AZ-01: David Schweikert
- AZ-06: Juan Ciscomani
- CA-22: David Valadao
- CA-27: Mike Garcia
- CA-45: Michelle Steel
- CO-08: Yadira Caraveo
- IA-01: Mariannette Miller-Meeks

- IA-03: Zach Nunn
- ME-02: Jared Golden
- NC-01: Don Davis
- NE-02: Don Bacon
- NM-02: Gabe Vasquez
- NY-17: Mike Lawler
- NY-19: Marc Molinaro
- OH-13: Emilia Sykes
- PA-01: Brian Fitzpatrick
- PA-07: Susan Wild

"The toxic Biden-Harris agenda that has created more illegal immigration and crushing price increases has left families worse off," said AAN President Dan Conston. "Congress has already taken steps to fix this mess, but there is still more work to be done. And it starts now."

Background:
The 118th Congress has passed key legislation to lower costs across the spectrum, starting with their flagship legislation H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act. Congress has also worked to reduce healthcare costs and daily household costs. AAN advocates for commonsense measures to get government out of the way and provide necessary relief to American families, which includes commonsense measures like H.R. 4067, the Red Tape Reduction Act. American Action Network has long been an advocate for commonsense border security legislation. AAN immigration research from February found that 62% of battleground voters support forcing the Biden Administration to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy, as opposed to 28% who oppose. The AAN survey also shows that almost 90% believe the U.S. Government needs to act on border security.
