A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Jerry Lee Williams

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Jerry Lee Williams. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams.

Those planning to access the hearing must complete the online registration form no later than September 27, 2024. Instructions for accessing the public hearing can be found here.

Jerry Lee Williams was sentenced to a term of 30 days jail and $385 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Non-Payment of Alimony or Child Support, and to a term of Life for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. Jerry Lee Williams was sentenced on December 3, 1970, and October 29, 1971, out of Macomb County.

Timothy S. Flanagan, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
