Residents reminded to stay weather aware, report storm damage

Be sure to report any property damage and adhere to all road closure signs following extreme weather events. Residents are reminded to have multiple ways to stay informed or receive updates. • With recent heavy rainfall, damage to private property may have been experienced. It is important for residents to report damage and relevant information to the Stormwater Division as such information is utilized in applying for community grants: https://www.normanok.gov/form/flood-damage-form
• Heavy rainfall which has led to some road closures due to flooding. Motorists are reminded to refrain from driving around road barricades. Even when roads appear dry, safety inspections that take time to carry out must be done to keep travelers safe.
