Detectives Investigating Homicide in Yesler Terrace Neighborhood

Seattle Police Department Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man deceased early Saturday morning.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a male shot around East Spruce Street and Broadway. Police arrived and located a male with a multiple gunshot wound.

Officers attempted life-saving measures until Seattle Fire Department arrived. Despite all life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The circumstances that led up to the shooting are unknown at this time.

Members of the Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Homicide detectives responded to the scene. The Homicide Unit will be leading the investigation.
