Janelle Bynum disputes Rayfield's account of sexual harassment scandal
October 29, 2024
Janelle Bynum lied again about her staffer sexual abuse scandal, contradicting her own past claims as well as claims by Dan Rayfield.
-
Bynum claimed she reported the allegations to authorities and claimed "we know that it was investigated."
-
But Bynum previously claimed she is not a mandatory reporter and she only reported it to Future PAC. (Dan Rayfield, head of Future PAC, contradicted Bynum, claiming Future PAC never received such a report.)
-
Pressed by KGW, Bynum then claimed, "That was their obligation," and claimed, "I did not have information that should have been reported to the police." False again.

"Janelle Bynum struggled again to keep her ever-changing story straight. Oregonians can tell Bynum is lying after she failed to do her legal and moral duty to protect victims, part of a longtime pattern of Bynum siding with perpetrators over victims." - NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
