Water and Ice Distribution

At 12:00 p.m. today, the Chemung County Office of Emergency Management will hold a water and ice distribution for individuals who are still affected by the power outages. The locations are as follows:

Town of Southport: Bradley Farms

1543 Maple Ave.

Elmira, NY 14904

Town of Erin: Erin Volunteer Fire Department

1464 Swartwood Hill Rd.

Erin, NY 14838

The event is to assist individuals who are still without power. Two 7 lb. bags of ice and bottled water will be distributed. Please be advised that we have been told by NYSEG that dry ice will be available sometime this afternoon. The manner in which it will be distributed has not been shared with county officials.
