Auburn’s Water Filtration Plant- Slow Sand Filter Building Rehabilitation Project to be Celebrated on August 22, 2024

The City of Auburn, NY has completed the rehabilitation project at the city's Water Filtration Plant- Slow Sand Filter Building. This project was grant funded under the NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation Water Infrastructure Improvement (WIIA) grant project number 18905. The over 100 year old facility underwent massive infrastructure renovations, which were the first significant improvements the facility received since opening.

Please join Mayor Giannettino and members of City Council at a public event to celebrate the completion of this project on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 6pm. Use the 160 Swift Street gate to the facility.
