Bishop Creek Bridge work to begin by ODOT in September

The City of Norman has been made aware that the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) will perform bridge work on State Highway 9 to Bishop Creek Bridge, located between S. Jenkins Avenue and 12th Avenue SE, beginning 9/3/24. East- and westbound travel is expected to remain accessible during the 420-day project but motorists may experience intermittent lane closures in both directions. Motorists should drive with caution in the area and adhere to all signage or traffic control measures in place.
