Death Investigation in the area of 17 Hammond St., Roxbury

About 1:36 AM on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, Officers assigned to District D-4 (Back Bay/South End) responded to a radio call for Person Shot at 17 Hammond St, Roxbury. Upon arrival, Officers observed the victim sustaining what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
