Lynn Tumblin serves as the administrative coordinator for the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Clemson University. She plans, organizes and directs a variety of complex administrative duties for the College of Veterinary Medicine's associate deans and department chair.

"I hope to utilize my 19 years of experience in an administrative support role at Clemson University to help the CVM team fulfill their mission of establishing the first college of veterinary medicine in S.C. and making a positive impact in the field of veterinary medicine," said Tumblin.

Tumblin is a native of Anderson, S.C., and she attended Erskine College where she received a bachelor's degree in business administration. With nearly twenty years of experience at Clemson University, she brings with her an extensive background in finance, office management and human resources. She has seen the need for veterinarians in the state and is looking forward to supporting students, faculty and staff in addressing this challenge.

"Being a native of S.C. and growing up having small and large animals, I'm aware of the need for more veterinarians in the state," said Tumblin "When I heard the news of Clemson University establishing a College of Veterinary Medicine, I immediately had a desire to be a part of the team working to build the college from the ground up."

Tumblin is honored and excited for the opportunity to be a part of the team tasked with establishing the inaugural veterinary school in South Carolina.

"I'm looking forward to being a part of the daily operations of the college and assisting the faculty and staff with achieving their goals in supporting the colleges mission and vision," said Tumblin "I'm also looking forward to welcoming our first class of students and engaging and supporting them as they grow and develop into the next generation of veterinarians."
