• Trump chose JD Vance as his running mate, an anti-choice extremist who wants abortion to be "illegal nationally," attacked exceptions for rape and incest, and compared abortion to slavery.
• Trump said he would support states monitoring women's pregnancies.
• Trump said "there has to be some form of punishment [for women who have an abortion]."
• Trump opened the door for extreme Republican attacks on IVF access and contraception.
