Give Back at Jack: Making a Difference in Our Communities

At Jack Henry™, our mission is fueled by three guiding principles: do the right thing, do whatever it takes, and have fun.

This commitment is core to our corporate citizenship and philanthropy efforts - particularly our Give Back at Jack campaign.

Jack Henry had a long-standing tradition of a "Shorts and Flip Flops" fundraising campaign during the summer months. During this time, associates were invited wear shorts and flip flops in the office to celebrate their donation of time or money to a philanthropic organization. Our founders, Jack Henry and Jerry Hall, were known to dress casually at the office during this season, hence the Shorts and Flip Flops campaign. As our work culture evolved with many associates embracing hybrid or remote work, we reimagined the Shorts & Flip Flops campaign. Thus, Give Back at Jack was born - creating an opportunity to unite our team in a spirit of giving no matter where we're located.

Empowering Future Leaders Through Junior Achievement

One highlight was our collaborationwith Junior Achievement, the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.

More than 800 associates participated in an informative session about Junior Achievement's impactful programs. For each attendee, Jack Henry donated to Junior Achievement - resulting in an incredible total of $20,000 to support curriculum development, volunteer recruitment, special events, and other student-focused initiatives.

Supporting Teacher Projects with DonorsChoose

Jack Henry associates rallied together to nominate and support teacher projects through DonorsChoose, raising over $13,500.

This incredible effort supported 34 teachers and impacted over 2,600 students, all thanks to the generosity of our associates and a matching gift from Jack Henry. Notably, 19 of the 34 supported classrooms have more than 50% of students who are Black, Latino, and/or Native American with an additional 50% of students coming from low-income households.

Teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude through DonorsChoose messages, celebrating the profound impact this initiative made in their classrooms and the lives of their students:

  • "Thank you so much for your generous donation and interest in our classroom! Your support means the world to me and my students."
  • "I'm so grateful and excited that this project has been fully funded! My second graders will learn so much."
  • "I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for your generous donation. My students will benefit from these experiences for years to come."
