Public Meeting: Denton County Outer Loop

Denton County is hosting in-person and virtual public scoping meeting opportunities to share information about the environmental review process and alternatives under consideration and gather input on the Denton County Outer Loop Study.
To address increasing growth in the region, Denton County, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), is initiating an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to construct a six-lane freeway primarily on new location connecting I-35 in Denton County to the Dallas North Tollway in Collin County.
In this EIS, Denton County and TxDOT will evaluate four build alternatives on a new location six-lane freeway in addition to the No-Build Alternative, that satisfy the purpose and need within the study area. Alternatives will be evaluated in consideration of input received from Federal, State, and local agencies as well as stakeholder groups and the public. No decisions have been made about a final alignment.

In-Person: Tuesday, Oct. 29 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (Aubrey/Pilot Point)
In-Person: Wednesday, Oct. 30 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (Denton)
Virtual: Oct. 29 - Nov. 29 | www.DentonCountyOuterLoop.com
The same information will be presented at each meeting. In-person meetings will be open house format.
