Bridge Replacement Project Begins on Route A in Adair County…

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, September 4, a bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin on Route A, over North Fork South Fabius River, located 1.2 miles west of Route J near Willmathsville in Adair County.

Route A was closed earlier this spring after the original structure collapsed due to flooding. The route will remain closed through reconstruction with signs and barricades in place.

Capital Paving & Construction, LLC was awarded the contract last month in the amount of $1.3M. All work is scheduled to be complete by December 1.
