Investigation underway after bodies of two people found - Cambridge Park

An investigation is underway following the discovery of two bodies in Sydney's west.

About 9.40am today (Saturday 30 November 2024) police were called to a shop on Oxford Street, Cambridge Park, following reports of an assault.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command attended and found the bodies of two people.

They have not been formally identified but are believed to be a man and woman - aged in their 70s.

A crime scene was established and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident, assisted by the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
