UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host Social Media Messaging Webinar Sept. 10

Small-business entrepreneurs in Wyoming will have an opportunity to streamline their social media messaging strategically Tuesday, Sept. 10.

Audie Cunningham will discuss tips for creating compelling messaging during a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar titled "Streamlining Your Social Media: Simplify Your Process and Work Strategically to Save Time" from noon-1 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Building a strong social media presence requires being strategic and consistent. The webinar will discuss how to create a social media workflow and strategy that will help small businesses integrate their tasks into their monthly calendars; develop a method for content creation; and, ultimately, strengthen social media following of small businesses through creating brand awareness and instilling trust.

Cunningham is the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Fremont and Teton counties. As an entrepreneur, she has worked in art licensing and graphic design and has 10 years of experience in customer service and marketing through her work in public libraries. Her education and experience have given her knowledge in print and digital marketing, creating marketing plans, social media marketing and business planning.
