Congressman Cohen Remembers Mike Cody

MEMPHIS - Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) learned of the death of former U.S. Attorney, Tennessee Attorney General and Memphis City Council Member Mike Cody on Monday and made the following statement:

"I knew Mike Cody all of my adult life. He was a highly respected attorney and public official, and was scrupulously honest. He did admirable service for Memphis, Tennessee and the United States. As Mr. Burch would say, 'the hair of the hypocrite was not seen about him.' I extend my sincere condolences to his wife Suzanna; his children Jane, Mia and Michael; his extended family, and his many friends. His was a life well-lived."
