Arrington Issues Statement Following Second Assassination Attempt Against President Trump

Washington, D.C. - House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement in response to a second attempted assassination against President Trump on Sunday:

"While the Left continues to make ridiculous and caustic claims about Donald Trump being a threat to Democracy, he is absolutely a threat to their radical plans to fundamentally transform our country.

"No one has endured more political persecution in modern history - if ever.

"First, it was the Russia-collusion hoax, then the first partisan impeachment in our history, then the first impeachment of a non-sitting president, then the armed raid on Mar-a-Lago, countless indictments, and, finally, two assassination attempts.

"And, he just keeps on fighting for the country and people he loves.

"Thankfully, you are not living in Castro's Cuba or Chavez' Venezuela…YET!"
