Suspect Arrested At Humboldt Avenue Stabbing

At about 12:42 PM, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Pedro Sanchez, 43, of Mattapan, on assault and battery charges.

Officers responded to 209 Humboldt Avenue for a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound. Boston EMS transported the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers conducted an investigation of the incident and obtained a description of the suspect fleeing the area in a vehicle. The officers began to search the area for the suspect and observed a male matching the description of the suspect return to the scene. Officers immediately placed the suspect under arrest.

Sanchez was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
