Escambia County, in partnership with Columbia Engineering and Consor Engineers, will host a public meeting to discuss the Palafox Sidewalk Improvements Project Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Ensley Community Center, located at 8390 N. Palafox St. adjacent to the Florida Department of Health Northside Service Center building. One or more Escambia County Commissioners may be in attendance.
The open house will showcase the design and planned concepts for the Palafox Street sidewalks. Roll plots and sections of the proposed improvements will be available for viewing during the meeting. County staff and representatives from Columbia Engineering and Consor Engineers will be available to answer questions from residents.
The project is funded by the U.S. Department of the Treasury under the RESTORE Act (Gulf Coast Restoration Trust Fund) program.
