Get in the spirit at these Halloween-themed events across Sacramento

The City's Department of Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment (YPCE) invites you to a variety of festive and spooky events for all ages throughout the city.

From costume contests and haunted houses to pumpkin patches and family-friendly trick-or-treating, there's something for everyone.

Check out the full list of October events and plan your spooky season fun:

Halloween BINGO (registration required)

Friday, Oct. 11 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Coloma Community Center
All ages, FREE

Dare to join us for a spook-tacular evening of fun and frights at our Halloween Bingo Night ! Come in your best costume and be ready to shout "Bingo!" with a ghostly twist ! We will also have bewitching raffle prizes

Floating Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, Oct. 19 from 3-6 p.m.
North Natomas Aquatics Complex

Saturday, Oct. 25 from 1-4 p.m.
Pannell Meadowview Pool

All ages, $5 (includes pumpkin)

Get ready to dive into a unique autumn experience that blends the magic of pumpkin patches with the excitement of a pool party! Join us for our annual Floating Pumpkin Patch events at North Natomas Aquatics Complex and Pannell Meadowview Pool, where we're bringing together the best of both worlds for a day of splashes, smiles, and seasonal fun.

Freaky Friday

Friday, Oct. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
South Natomas Community Center
All ages, FREE

Enter our kid-friendly rooms for hauntingly good trick or treating. For the more adventurous, immerse yourself in our heart pounding scare rooms that will be sure to leave you chilled to the bone.

We'll have costume contests for kids and adults, fun entertainment, candy giveaways, games, and raffles!

Howl-O-Ween Party

Friday, Oct. 18 from 6:30-9 p.m.
Belle Cooledge Community Center and Park
All ages, FREE

Get ready for a frightfully fun night the whole family can enjoy! Dress up in your best costume and join us for an outdoor movie screening, haunted house, costume contests, games and more. Whether you're here for the spooky vibes, to show off your pet's cutest costume, or to just have a great time with family and friends, there's something for everyone!

Children and their families are invited to Fairytale Town for its 38th annual Safe & Super Halloween as the beloved park will be magically transformed into the whimsical world of Neverland for an enchanting Halloween! Highlights of the event include trick-or-treating throughout the park, thrilling magic shows, a costume parade, and more!
