Weekly APA Public Comment Periods Announcement


RAY BROOK, NY - The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.

At present, the following projects are available for comment at https://apa.ny.gov/Hearings/index.cfm:

• Construction of a three-story dormitory with 53 units for employee housing at the Sagamore Resort in the Town of Bolton, Warren County.

• Continued operation of an existing commercial sand and gravel extraction in the Town of Willsboro, Essex County.

• Creation of a four-lot subdivision of an un-developed 105-acre parcel of land, to create three 21-acre lots and one 42-acre lot with no new land use or development proposed in the Town of North Hudson, Essex County.

• A three-lot subdivision to create two 1.31±-acre building lots and one 9.74±-acre building lot, each with a single-family dwelling, on-site wastewater treatment system and individual water supply well in the Town of Indian Lake, Hamilton County.

• Construction of an 11,000 square foot boat storage building and office in Town of Northampton, Fulton County.

The mission of the Adirondack Park Agency is to protect the public and private resources of the Adirondack Park through the exercise of the powers and duties of the Agency as provided by law.
