The Head of State accepted the letters of credence of the Ambassadors of Andorra and Zambia

President of the Republic Alar Karis accepted the letters of credence of Ambassador Elisenda Vives of the Principality of Andorra and Ambassador Gladys Neven Lundwe of Zambia in Kadriorg.

At the meeting with the Ambassador of Andorra, the Estonian Head of State expressed his pleasure at the intensified bilateral relations and acknowledged Andorra for its foreign policy, which shares the same values as the European Union in supporting Ukraine and imposing sanctions on Russia. The Head of State also praised Andorra for its activity in the protection of children and vulnerable groups, which is also very important for the continued support of Ukraine. President Karis highlighted the successful cooperation with Andorra in the framework of the UN.

With the Ambassador of Zambia, the Estonian Head of State discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations, especially in the field of digital and educational cooperation. President Karis noted that Zambia is an important partner among African countries in supporting Ukraine.

The Ambassador of Zambia resides in Stockholm and the Ambassador of Andorra resides in Andorra la Vella.
