Water Main Repair Closes Portion of Downtown Street

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that a portion of "O" Street between 13th and 14th streets is closed to traffic for water main repairs. Water crews restored water service to property owners by 9 a.m. Saturday. Additional street repairs are estimated to be completed by the week of October 7.
The recommended routes around the full closure include:
- Westbound traffic: 14th Street to "Q" Street to 13th Street to "O" Street
- Eastbound traffic: 13th Street to "M" Street to 14th Street to "O" Street
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure. LTU appreciates the public's patience and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
