On September 27, 2024, Governor Lee issued Executive Order No. 105, declaring a major disaster and state of emergency, encouraging state agencies to work with persons adversely affected and to take these circumstances into account with respect to providing services.

In response to the severe weather and the executive order, TennCare is ensuring that applications and members' health coverage are not disrupted in the following counties:

  • Carter
  • Cocke

We are also working diligently to ensure that members continue receiving essential health care services. If you live in one of the affected counties or have been impacted by the recent severe weather, please reach out to TennCare for any questions or concerns.
