EU Ambassadors to UN meet WFP Guarnieri

Today the EU Ambassadors & Permanent Representatives to the UN Organisations in Rome discussed their joint work at FAO, prepared for the upcoming WFP Executive Board and welcomed Ukraine as a new Member of IFAD. Special guest was Valerie Guarnieri who gave an excellent update on the work carried out by WFP.

A minute of silence was held before the EU Heads of Mission meeting to pay tribute to the victims of the floods in Spain.

EU Ambassador Martin Selmayr thanked the French Ambassador Céline Jurgensen for hosting the Heads of Mission meeting in the magnificent Palazzo Farnese.
