Homicide Investigation - 3800 Block of Northgate Boulevard

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, just after 6:00 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 3800 Block of Northgate Boulevard for reports of a shooting. Responding officers located one male adult and one female adult each with at least one gunshot wound. Officers provided emergency medical aid to the victims until Sacramento Fire Personnel arrived on scene. Both victims unfortunately succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased on scene.

Due to the circumstances, homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. They will be processing the scene, canvassing the area, and interviewing witnesses. The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. No arrests have been made and there is no suspect information to provide at this time.

The Sacramento County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the deceased after next of kin have been notified.
