Watch: Kevin Costner Reacts to John Dutton’s ‘Yellowstone’ Sendoff

On today's episode of "The Michael Smerconish Program " on SiriusXM's POTUS Politics, Kevin Costner reacted to his character John Dutton's death in yesterday's episode of the smash hit series "Yellowstone," revealing that he hasn't seen the episode yet, but knows how it ends.

"I didn't see it," Costner told host Michael Smerconish. "I heard it's a suicide. So that doesn't make me want to rush to go see it."

"I gave it five seasons - I didn't even know I was going to do it that long," Costner added about "Yellowstone." "There was a couple times where I talked about possible endings for myself."

"I can't imagine that was one of them," Smerconish said.

"No, I heard what it was. Listen, they're smart people, whatever they're doing, they'll figure it out. But, yeah, I had come up with two possible ending back when it wasn't gonna go as long as it did go."
