Traffic Advisories and Street Closings in The City of York

The following events will take place and affect traffic in the City of York

Friday August 30

• George Street Dining will close George St between North St and Philadelphia St between 5:30 pm and 10:00 pm.

Saturday August 31

Commercial Video Production will close the following:

• George St between North St and Philadelphia St between 1:00 pm and 12:00 am
• Philadelphia St between Duke St and Cherry Ln between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm
• George St between Market St and Philadelphia St between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm
• Motorists are encouraged to use King St, Queen St, Princess St, North St, Beaver St, and Pershing Ave. Vehicles will be able to exit the Philadelphia Street Garage during the entire event, but vehicles will not be able to enter the Philadelphia Street Garage between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm.
• F&J Rental Grand Opening will close Duke St between College Ave and Princess St from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Monday September 2

• City of York Labor Day Festival will close Newberry St from Madison Ave to Parkway Blvd between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm. It will also close Parkway Blvd from Pennsylvania Ave to Smith St between 8:30pm and 10:00pm. Fireworks will happen at around 9:00pm.
