Volusia County's Children and Families Advisory Board (CFAB) is in the process of reviewing the current health and social service priorities for Volusia County in anticipation of the CFAB competitive funding process. The funding for the service categories is on a five-year cycle, with a new cycle beginning in fiscal year 2025-26.

Two stakeholder workshops have been scheduled to obtain input on the five current service categories being funded through the CFAB budget:

  • 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, in the second-floor training room of the Volusia County Historic Courthouse, 125 W. New York Ave., DeLand
  • 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in the Daytona Beach Regional Library auditorium, 105 Jackie Robinson Parkway, Daytona Beach

Agencies and the public are encouraged to attend and provide their input to help the board make decisions prior to a competitive funding process.
