DBE GOAL METHODOLOGY FFY 2025-2027

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with US DOT regulation 49 CFR Part 26, the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) for disadvantaged business participation in projects funded in whole or in part with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds including consulting, supplies, manufacturing, and service contracts.

For FFY 2025-2027 (October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2027) AVCOG has established an annual DBE participation goal of 0.48% to be achieved through race/gender neutral means. Contractors/providers should examine each element of work on Federally Funded projects for DBE subcontracting or sub-consulting opportunities.

Interested parties may view AVCOG's DBE and FTA Goal Methodology for the next 10 days during normal business hours (8:00 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday) at the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments, 125 Manley Road, Auburn, Maine or on AVCOG's website http://www.avcog.org.
