DALLAS - Stephen C. Foster Elementary School teachers will be treated to lunch from the Mexico Lindo food truck at 11 a.m., tomorrow, Aug. 15, courtesy of United to Learn. Lunch will be served in front of the school, offering educators an opportunity to connect and strengthen their bonds with colleagues.

Townview's welcoming choir shines bright
The School for the Talented and Gifted at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center boasts the district's only competitive choir open to all students-regardless of experience or talent. This inclusive program has become a cornerstone of the school's identity, fostering a love of music and providing a welcoming environment for beginners. Each year, the choir brings in 30 to 40 new members and participates in up to 30 performances and competitions.

Dallas students shine at Destination Imagination Global Finals
Three Dallas ISD teams excelled at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri. Daniel Webster Elementary School secured third place in their first-ever competition. Other standout teams, New Tech High School at B.F. Darrell and the School for the Talented and Gifted at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center, placed fourth and sixth, respectively. The competition featured 650 teams from 14 countries, promoting innovation and collaboration through STEAM challenges.
