Salt Lake City introduces second year of drone shows as a safe, spectacular alternative to fireworks

July 2, 2024

After a successful inaugural year, Salt Lake City is bringing back drone shows as a fun, safe, and sustainable way to celebrate Independence Day and Pioneer Day in July. Events will occur on Friday, July 5, at Jordan Park and Wednesday, July 24, at Liberty Park.

The shows will begin at 10 p.m. and enchant spectators for 10 to 15 minutes with a mesmerizing display of lights, choreographed formations of iconic local imagery, and aerial acrobatics. The events are open and welcoming to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to enhance their experience and contribute to a sustainable event. Food trucks will also be on site.

Media are invited to attend these events. Please visit www.slcityevents.com for more information. For ADA accommodations, contact Salt Lake City Events at 801-535-6167.
