Chairman Joe Powers Criticizes Harris's Choice of Tim Walz as VP Running Mate
Warwick, RI - Kamala Harris's selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her Vice Presidential running mate is a clear signal of her commitment to radical, far-left policies that will hurt our nation.
"Governor Walz's record is one of failure and extremism," said RI Republican Party Chairman Joe Powers. "His disastrous handling of COVID-19 crippled Minnesota's economy, shuttered businesses, and left families struggling. His weak leadership during the George Floyd riots allowed chaos and violence to spread unchecked."
Chairman Powers also criticized Walz's stance on children's healthcare. "Walz's support for radical procedures like sex change operations for minors is beyond extreme. It's a direct attack on parental rights and the well-being of our children."
"The Harris-Walz ticket is a dangerous combination that will sink America deeper into economic turmoil and societal division," Powers continued. "The RI Republican Party stands firm against this radical agenda and will fight for policies that protect our freedoms and ensure a prosperous future for all Americans."
