Sabre Direct Pay partners with TerraPay to deliver virtual card payments and to promote cross-border payment solutions for travel agencies worldwide

  • The agreement enables Sabre Direct Pay to offer TerraPay card payments and instant bank transfers to over 140 countries, including Latin America.

SOUTHLAKE, Texas, Nov. 4, 2024 - Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a leading software and technology company that powers the global travel industry, and TerraPay, a company focusing to simplify global money movement, today announced a multi-year strategic agreement, expanding Sabre Direct Pay reach and enhancing Sabre's virtual payment solutions for travel agencies worldwide.

Under the new agreement, Sabre Direct Pay will offer an enhanced service to travel agencies, including the ability to send bank transfers instantly through TerraPay's vast network, covering 144+ receive countries, 210+ send countries, over 7.5 billion bank accounts, and 2.4 billion mobile wallets. This solution simplifies transactions for travel agencies, dramatically reducing costs and processing times while ensuring compliance and security. Additionally, Sabre Direct Pay will expand its reach into new markets for virtual card payments within the travel industry, starting with several countries in Latin America.
