Public Notice: Main Street Multi-Use Path and Pedestrian Bridge

This division handles project development, plan review, construction inspection, utility locating, stormwater management, and customer service as it pertains to Public Works issues.

At this time, the Village of Roselle is soliciting comments regarding a proposed new multi-use path and pedestrian bridge between the Metra's Roselle Station and the intersection of Main Street and Spring Street. Construction of the path and bridge is anticipated to begin and be completed in the 2026 construction season. An overnight closure of IL-19 (Irving Park Road) south of Lawrence Ave and north of Maple Ave will be used for one evening during placement of the new bridge and a detour route will be provided along adjacent streets during that time. If interest is received, the project will be discussed at a public meeting.
