EU Military Committee: General Brieger visits Malta

From 4 to 6 September, the Chairman of the European Union Military Committee, General Robert Brieger, travelled to Malta on an official visit.

During his visit, the General exchanged views with the Maltese Chief of Defence Brigadier Clinton J O'Neill, the Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment Byron Camilleri and the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade Ian Borg.

General Brieger engaged in discussions with the Maltese high officials touching the current European security and defence policy matters, security environment and aspects of cooperation.
