Winners of the 2024 McNulty Prize, Nedgine Paul Deroly, CEO & Co-Founder, Anseye Pou Ayiti and Jean-Claude Brizard, Pahara Fellow, Founding Board Chair, Anseye Pou Ayiti have a shared dedication to fostering genuine social justice initiatives within their homeland of Haiti. Through Anseye Pou Ayiti (APA), they are shifting away from a historically oppressive colonial education system and turning toward an educational framework that nurtures the Haitian identity.

Anseye Pou Ayiti's micro-documentary introduces a novel approach to civic engagement and community revitalization, focusing on empowering educators, parents, and school administrators through comprehensive programs that encompass professional development, mentorship, and community involvement. With a goal of cultivating a robust network of 50,000 influential individuals by 2025, APA is poised to significantly impact the future of leadership and community development in Haiti.
