Heather Harris, a partner in the firm's Indianapolis office, has been elected to SCG Legal's 2025 board of directors. SCG Legal is a global network of 123 independent law and lobbying firms providing legal, regulatory, and public policy services in 63 countries and all U.S. states.
Harris was elected to a three-year term. All board members assist with governance and strategic planning, financial oversight, member relations and recruitment, leadership and talent development, and legal and ethical conduct. SCG Legal is based in Washington, D.C., and was founded in 1989.
Harris concentrates her practice in the areas of government services, education and healthcare law. She advises on education reform, including innovation network agreements with public school districts, charter school application development, and implementation of and accountability to charter school authorizers. A registered Indiana lobbyist, Heather has been involved in policy development, analysis and negotiations at the local, state and federal levels.
