Secretary-General of ASEAN to participate in the Heads of Civil Service Meeting for the 22nd ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matter in Brunei Darussalam

At the invitation of H.E. Ajman Bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister's Office of Brunei Darussalam, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn will lead the ASEAN Secretariat team participate in the Heads of Civil Service Meeting for the 22nd ASEAN Cooperation on Civil Service Matters (ACCSM) to be held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, on 6-7 August 2024. Dr. Kao will be delivering opening remarks, updating the Meeting on decisions of other ASEAN meetings relevant to ACCSM, and presenting views on strengthening governments' strategies on mental health and well-being to achieve work-life balance in the public sector. In the course of his stay in Brunei Darussalam, Dr. Kao will engage in bilateral meetings with H.E. Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Civil Service of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the incoming ACCSM Chair as well as with Ambassador Ted Osius, President & CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council in order to capitalize fully on existing cooperation and to discuss future collaboration.
