Weather Updates: Monitoring Debby

Carnival Cruise Line teams at sea and at its Fleet Operations Center in Miami continue to monitor the projected path of Tropical Storm Debby and adapt as needed.

With the Port of Tampa closed to marine traffic on Sunday, it is likely Carnival Paradise will be delayed for its scheduled arrival Monday morning. A projected arrival time will follow an assessment by port officials in Tampa once the storm passes. Guests on the current cruise as well as the embarkation scheduled for Monday have been notified. Embarking guests have also been advised to sign up for text alerts to stay up to date on any itinerary changes.

Carnival Elation will depart Jacksonville on Sunday - one day early - to avoid the impact of the storm. Guests are asked to follow the guidance communicated to them for their new embarkation times. Guests who are unable to sail should contact Carnival at 1-800-CARNIVAL (764-7619).

We thank our guests for their cooperation and understanding as we continue to monitor forecasts and factor in guidance from the National Hurricane Center, U.S. Coast Guard and the local port authorities to provide timely updates.
