More about the Christmas Parade

The Baytown Christmas Parade is a cherished annual tradition celebrating its 76th year, uniting the entire community by bringing together businesses, schools, and organizations to kick off the Christmas season. This festive event takes place on the first Thursday in December each year in Historic Downtown Baytown at 213 West Texas Avenue.

The 2024 Christmas Parade is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The lighting of the Town Square Christmas Tree marks the official start of the parade, which commences at Bicentennial Park, progresses near the Sterling Library, and loops back around Town Square. Each year, the parade features over 200 floats and vehicles, along with numerous marching bands and walking groups, culminating in a special appearance by Santa Claus.
