Investigation Update: Blue Hill Ave. Stabbing Suspect Arrested

At about 7:34 PM, on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, Officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 895 Blue Hill Ave., Dorchester.

Upon arrival, Officers located a 57-year-old male victim suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Later that evening, at about 11:45 PM, on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, Officers assigned to District B-3 arrested 73-year-old Christopher Tennin, of Cambridge, MA, after turning himself in at District B-3 for the stabbing that occurred earlier in the evening at 895 Blue Hill Ave.

Christopher Tennin is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the charge of Aggravated Assault & Battery with a Weapon to Wit (Knife).
