Christina Bohannan Overtakes Miller-Meeks in Cash On Hand, Outraises Her (Again) in Q2

After outraising Mariannette Miller-Meeks for the fourth quarter in a row and every single quarter she's been in the race, Christina Bohannan has surpassed Miller-Meeks in cash on hand by more than $200,000. Christina also outraised Miller-Meeks by more than $350,000.

Christina has broken multiple fundraising records, including the most raised by a federal candidate in the first 24 hours in Iowa state history and most raised in an off-year by a House challenger in Iowa.

With Iowa's strict abortion ban recently upheld by the state Supreme Court, Miller-Meeks' anti-abortion record is top of mind for voters. Miller-Meeks helped lay the groundwork for the state's near-total ban, voting for a constitutional amendment that would eliminate the right to an abortion in Iowa. Now, she wants to ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman's life.

Meanwhile, Christina has made her campaign about Iowans, traveling the district to meet with voters and discuss protecting reproductive freedom, improving access to rural health care, and supporting farmers.

DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
"Christina Bohannan's campaign has unprecedented momentum because Southeast Iowans see the clear contrast between her and Mariannette Miller-Meeks. Miller-Meeks is a Washington politician who wants to ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions, while Christina is committed to showing up and doing right by middle class families. Voters know they can trust Christina to work tirelessly to help them get ahead."
