All City of Santa Fe offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Closures include:
The Parking Division will observe July 4 as a meter holiday. Patrons may park in metered zones at no charge. Meter holidays only apply to metered parking spaces. Surface lots and garages are still subject to fees.
The free annual Fourth of July Fireworks display at the Santa Fe Place Mall begins at 4 pm with
live music, food trucks, and other activities. The fireworks will begin at dark, approximately 9:30 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe. Live music from Una Mas y La ChaCha, Michael Matison and the Kats, Brandon Post and the Brujo Trio will light up the night.
There will be no residential trash or recycling collection on Thursday, July 4. Collection will slide forward to the next day (see graphic below). Place carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. for collection.
Commercial collection will not change.
