Detroit continuing its virtual budget community meetings, will hold last of Budget Priorities Forum THIS WEEK in City Council Districts 4 and 5

  • Forums to be held in all 7 City Council districts over several weeks

  • Budget staff will give residents an overview of the budget development process, share priority-setting challenges, and take public comments

The City of Detroit continuing its community meetings on the budget is holding the last two Budget Priorities Forum THIS WEEK on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in District 4 and on Wednesday, Nov. 20 in District 5. Forums are being held in all 7 City Council districts to get resident input for the Mayor's Fiscal Year 2026 proposed budget. Office of Budget staff will give an overview of the budget development process, share priority-setting challenges, and take public comments.
